Conversation Connectors

Adult-led printable question cards that help a grown-up and child talk together. The adult holds the deck and guides the conversation; the child does not need to read or see the prompts.

How the cards workEach card has ASK, IF THEY NEED HELP, GO A LITTLE FURTHER and NEXT CONNECTION. Every theme has four connected trails of five cards: start anywhere, follow the next number, or follow the child’s answer. Card 20 loops back to 01. There is no scoring.

Choosing a rangeAbility ranges describe the conversational demands of the questions, and ages are approximate guides only. Choose by your child’s understanding, interests and the support that will be useful. Each range is sold separately.
